This strategic move acknowledges the unprecedented challenges faced by the travel industry and IHG's steadfast focus on its core values of connection, strength, unity, and community engagement.

With a global presence across 16 diverse brands and nearly 6,000 properties in 100 countries, IHG Hotels Resorts is now keenly focused on enhancing its engagement with guests, hotel owners, colleagues, future talent, and promoting the breadth of its portfolio more effectively. The rebranding effort encompasses several strategic elements:

The Hotels Resorts descriptor has been added to IHG's trade name to highlight the full scope of its portfolio.

A comprehensive revamp of the IHG Rewards program has also taken place. The word Club has been phased out, with IHG Rewards now more prominently featured across various platforms and touchpoints.

Moreover, IHG Hotels Resorts' 16 brands have been grouped into four distinct collections to better align with their core values:
