QANTAS TODAY LAUNCHES ITS FIRST ONLINE FLAGSHIP STORE IN CHINA, MARKING AN IMPORTANT STEP IN THE RLINE'S GROWTH STRATEGY FOR THE ASIAN MARKET.

In a significant development for travelers in China, Qantas today announced the launch of its first online flagship store on Qunar.com. This innovative partnership enables Chinese customers to book flights directly with Qantas via one of China's largest travel platforms and mobile app, Qunar.com.

Our focus is on providing our Chinese customers with streamlined booking processes and convenient access, stated Benjamin Tan, Senior Vice President for Asia at Qantas. By partnering with Qunar, we are delivering a seamless experience that combines the efficiency of their platform with our premium rline services.

Liu Lianchun, CEO of Qunar, echoed this sentiment: With Australia as one of China's most sought-after destinations, Qantas is now providing Chinese travelers with a booking experience. We're excited to welcome them on board and look forward to strengthening this partnership for the benefit of our customers.

This new channel marks an important milestone in Qantas' efforts to expand its presence in Asia, leveraging digital platfor reach its customer base effectively.

Qantas' move into China also aligns with broader trs in tourism. Chinese visitors to Australia surpassed those from New Zealand earlier this year and are now the country's largest international visitor source, according to recent data.

Qunar boasts an impressive user base of over 300 million website users and more than 1.7 billion mobile app downloads. As part of this partnership, Qantas will benefit from access to Qunar's large-scale distribution network across flights operated by about 580 rlines worldwide.

The new online platform comes as a result of Qantas' commitment to enhancing its digital capabilities through the launch of their Distribution Platform QDP earlier in May. This allows for experiences and stronger partnership opportunities, with over 100 rlines already utilizing QDP.

As Qantas continues to expand its reach into new markets and optimize customer engagement via digital platforms, this latest move serves as a testament to the rline's strategic focus on innovation and global connectivity.

The launch of the online flagship store underscores Qantas' commitment to delivering exceptional travel experiences for Chinese travelers seeking flights between China and Australia and New Zealand. The partnership with Qunar is poised to significantly enhance Qantas' ability to serve this growing market efficiently and effectively.

This development is part of a series of updates from Qantas, including:

1 The unveiling of the new Broome Regional Lounge.

2 The release of the annual Qantas Group Report Sustnability Report.

3 A mden flight marking Qantas' entry into Vanuatu.

These highlights demonstrate Qantas' ongoing commitment to service excellence and strategic growth across its operations.
